One codebase. Two platforms. Production-ready apps with React Native & Expo.
Building two separate apps — one for iOS, one for Android — used to be the only way to reach mobile users. Today, React Native lets you build a single, high-quality codebase that runs natively on both platforms. At CodeTagz, we've shipped multiple React Native apps that users can't tell apart from native apps — because they behave like native apps.
We use Expo with Expo Router for file-based navigation, EAS Build for app store submissions, and EAS Update for over-the-air updates that reach users without going through App Store review. Our mobile apps connect to a backend API (either your existing one or one we build), support OTP and social login, handle push notifications, and work offline where required.

01
We map every screen, user journey, and API endpoint before building. Mobile UX is different from web — navigation, gestures, and loading states are planned upfront.
02
We agree on the API structure and data shapes before frontend or backend work starts. This prevents last-minute surprises.
03
We build in milestones and test on real iOS and Android devices — not just emulators. Gestures, animations, and keyboard behaviour are tested on hardware.
04
We handle the App Store and Play Store submission process including screenshots, descriptions, and compliance with store guidelines.
Why It Matters
01
One codebase covers both iOS and Android. You pay once, not twice. Updates deploy to both platforms simultaneously.
02
Bug fixes and content updates reach users within minutes via EAS Update — no waiting 3–7 days for App Store review.
03
React Native uses real native components — not a WebView. Animations, gestures, and performance match the platform's native experience.
04
App Store and Play Store submissions, developer accounts, compliance, screenshots — we handle all of it.

FAQ
A standard mobile app (auth, core features, backend API) takes 4–8 weeks. Complex apps with real-time features, payments, or heavy offline support take 8–14 weeks.
Yes — App Store requires an Apple Developer account (₹8,000/year) and Play Store requires a Google Play Developer account (one-time ₹2,000). We help you set these up and submit the app on your behalf.
Yes — for JavaScript changes (UI updates, bug fixes, new screens), we use EAS Update for over-the-air delivery. For native code changes, App Store re-submission is required.
It depends on your requirements. We can implement offline support for specific screens and data using AsyncStorage or MMKV. This is discussed and scoped during discovery.
A React Native app typically costs ₹1,50,000–₹5,00,000 depending on features and backend complexity. We quote a fixed price upfront. Contact us for a tailored estimate.
